Every order is the first thing we bake today.

About the Baker

Seher is from Kerala — a place that has always understood food as an act of love.

When her husband's work brought them to Bangalore, and then to Dubai, she found herself in a professional kitchen supplying premium cakes to five-star hotels across the city. It was there, mentored by a Russian pastry chef who had spent decades perfecting his craft, that Seher learned what it truly means to bake. Not just the techniques — the ethics. That every cake carries the weight of the occasion it is made for. That the person eating it deserves your absolute best, every single time.

She returned to Kerala with those lessons and a recipe that would go on to win multiple awards — the Medovik, a Russian honey cake of ten caramelized layers that people tried once and came back for again and again. For birthdays, weddings, and every occasion that deserved something made properly.

Then came Bangalore. Not as a stop along the way, but as a destination. The city that had given her a home deserved the kind of desserts she had spent years learning to make — Medovik honey cake, Kunafa woven into fudgy Belgian chocolate brownies, authentic flavors that nobody else in this city was offering. So she built a bakery worthy of them.

Every item at Cakeophilics is baked to order — never in advance, never on a shelf, never rushed. Because Seher's mentor taught her that a shortcut is a broken promise. And she has never broken one yet.

A Kerala girl. Trained in Dubai. Building something extraordinary in Bangalore.
